My Story: From Frustration to Freedom
For years, I felt stuck in a cycle of frustrating diets. I tried them all—counting every single calorie, eliminating entire food groups, and feeling perpetually hungry and deprived. I was either “on” a diet, miserable and restrictive, or “off” a diet, guilty and gaining back the weight. It was exhausting. My energy levels were constantly crashing, and I felt like I was fighting a losing battle with my own body.
My “aha!” moment came when I stumbled upon the concept of Intermittent Fasting. I was skeptical. “Skip breakfast? Won’t I be starving? Isn’t that unhealthy?”
But the science made sense. It wasn’t about what I was eating, but when. I decided to give the 16:8 method a try for just one month. The transformation wasn’t just physical—it was mental.
- The brain fog I didn’t even realize I had… lifted.
- The constant 3 PM energy crash… vanished.
- My obsession with food and my next meal… simply faded away.
- And yes, the stubborn weight that wouldn’t budge… finally started to melt away.
Intermittent Fasting gave me a sense of freedom I’d never experienced with any diet. It was sustainable, simple, and it truly worked.
Why I Started This Blog
As I got deeper into IF, I realized how much confusing and contradictory information was out there. It was overwhelming for a beginner. Friends and family started asking me for advice, and I loved helping them navigate the basics and avoid the common mistakes I had made.
I started The Fasting Path to create a clear, compassionate, and evidence-based guide for everyone feeling just as lost as I once was. My mission is to:
